Lyveira

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Lyveira (“Lyveira”, “we”, “us”) helps you support your everyday mental wellbeing. We care deeply about your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and a display name. You can also use the app as a guest, with data stored on your device.

Content you create

Moods, habits, journal entries, goals, safety plans, and similar content you choose to save. Journal entries are encrypted on your device.

Diagnostics

Crash reports, performance data, and basic product-interaction events that help us find bugs and improve the app. We minimize linking this to your identity.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, or precise location. We do not collect health data unless you explicitly enable an optional integration (for example Apple Health, which is off by default and read on-device only).

How we use information

We rely on your consent, on our legitimate interest in operating and improving Lyveira, and on performing our agreement with you.

AI features

Lyveira’s AI features are optional. They are off until you turn them on, and we ask for your permission in the app before any of your content is sent for AI processing. You can withdraw that permission at any time in Settings → Privacy, which stops all further AI processing while leaving everything you have written in place.

Who receives the data. When an AI feature runs, the content it needs is sent to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., United States), which generates the response and the search embeddings. That request travels through Cloudflare’s AI Gateway (Cloudflare, Inc., United States), which routes and rate-limits it on our behalf. No other AI provider receives your content.

What is sent. Only what the feature you used needs:

What is never sent. Your email address, name, account identifiers, password, payment details, and precise location are never included in an AI request.

How it is protected. OpenAI and Cloudflare process this data only as our processors, under written agreements that require confidentiality and security protections equivalent to those described in this policy, and that permit processing only on our instructions. Your content is not used to train their models, and it is not retained by them for their own purposes.

Even so, please do not enter information you would not want processed this way. The AI Coach is a wellbeing tool, not a medical or emergency service.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers who help us run Lyveira, under contract, and each is required to provide the same or equivalent protection for your data as this policy describes:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must keep limited records to comply with law.

Your rights

At any time you can:

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights. Contact us to exercise them.

Security

We use encryption in transit, on-device encryption of journal content, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Children

Lyveira is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
